Toolroom Coordinator at Ardagh Glass Packaging

About the position

Internal Job Title: Mould Shop Administrator.

Mould Shop: Bellville Factory.

Role description:
The purpose of this role is to coordinate all Mould Shop administration regarding mould life, tool enquiries, tool transfers, tool drawings and tool orders.

Responsibilities:

• Co-ordination of all tool orders and movements on SAP.
• Co-ordination of all tool enquiries and tool transfers.
• Orders mould equipment as required.
• Confirms new Mould Equipment Drawings vs. existing mould equipment.
• Co-ordination between Mould Shop and Tool Optimisation Manager for planning of future production runs.
• Updates of all tool life records.
• Ensures good housekeeping at all times.
• Maintains and continuously improves historical data capturing systems.

Required Qualifications / Skills and desired competences.

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferable / Mechanical Trade Test Certificate a pre-requisite.
• 2 - 3 years experience in a FMCG production environment.
• Administrative experience in a technical environment.
• High level of computer literacy (MS Office Suite, SAP).
• Ability to read, interpret and approve technical tool drawings is essential.
• Delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
• Strong Analytical ability and systematical problem solving skills.
• Ability to cope with pressures and setbacks.
• Required to work overtime and perform standby duties.
