In 2022 Consol Glass was acquired by Ardagh Group. Headquartered in Luxembourg, Ardagh Group is a leading global supplier of infinitely recyclable, sustainable metal and glass packaging solutions for brand owners around the world. Following the acquisition of Consol Glass, Ardagh operates 65 production facilities in 16 countries and four continents and employs approximately 20,000 people.

Ardagh Glass Packaging – Africa consists of seven manufacturing plants in South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Ethiopia and exports to 22 African jurisdictions. These sites produce a range of glass packaging for the pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries inclusive of the beer, alcoholic fruit beverage, wine, fruit juice, soft drinks, mineral water and spirits markets.
