E-Commerce Picker Packer (Fixed Term Contract) at The Consol Shop Woodmead

About the position

Closing Date: 19 April 2024.
Temp Position: 6 Months -12 month contract.

Role description:
To pick stock for placed from Ecommerce orders and pack accurately with finesse and ensure all shipments are prepared, staged, and located in the correct area with the correct documentation for dispatching.

Role responsibilities:

• Accurate picking of all Ecommerce orders.
• Keep record of inventory, report low stock levels timeously for the shop and participate in stocktaking.
• Ensure correct labelling on all products.
• All shipments to have correct documentation attached.
• Report damaged products timeously.
• Pack order according to pack spec and wrap all items neatly to be aesthetically pleasing.
• Assist Customers with their orders and maintain good customer service.
• Communicate with E-commerce administrator about Out of Stocks and overstocks.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping.

Required Qualifications:

• Matric / Grade 12.

Required Experience:

• 1-3 years' experience as Picker Packer.
• Have Warehouse experience.

• Attention to detail.
• Proven communication skills both Written and Verbal (English)
• Good record keeping of packages.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a solid team environment.
• Fast paced and able to work under pressure.
• Ability to pick and pack heavy items.
