Wound care Assistant
Medical practice based in Centurion is looking for a Wound care assistant.
Minimum qualifications required:
Degree or diploma in either nursing or a qualified emergency medical practitioner.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
Management of non complex wound care.
Setting up of sterile trays and assisting in room procedures.
Greeting patients and family in a warm and approachable manner and ensuring all paperwork is completed.
Scheduling appointments and fulfilling reception duties.
Assist with theatre lists and arrangements thereof.
Managing patient records.
General administration.
Assist in managing back-office tasks; provisioning of medical supplies and care, interacting with supply companies, and accurate filing procedures.
Assist in educating parents and guardians in patient treatment/care issues.
Keep workspaces area neat and tidy.
Skills and attributes:
Deliver a high standard of patient care
Excellent communication skills
Excellent administrative skills
Ability to multi-task and working both independently and part of a team
Minimal skills in accounting and business reporting
High energy levels
Working hours
Monday to Thursday 8h00 - 16h30
Friday 8 :00-13:30
