? WORKING FOREMAN - AUTOMOTIVE WORKSHOP

Are you a skilled automotive technician ready to step into a leadership role?
Our client, a rapidly growing and innovative automotive group disrupting the South African market, is seeking an experienced Working Foreman to lead their workshop operations. This company is revolutionizing the automotive sales experience through digital innovation while maintaining focus on creating magical customer experiences.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Essential Requirements:
- Matric + Technical Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- 3-5 years qualified technician experience with strong technical expertise
- Previous team leadership/Quality Control experience
- Corporate dealership and volume brand experience
Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical procedures and diagnostic equipment
- Proficiency with service manuals and warranty processes
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical bulletins
- Experience with automotive platforms and online tools
- Strong quality control and attention to detail
Leadership Qualities:
- Excellent team management and coaching abilities
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Professional customer service approach
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
Workshop Leadership & Management:
- Supervise and coach technical team members
- Manage daily workshop operations and productivity schedules
- Ensure high-quality vehicle repairs and maintenance services
- Drive revenue through efficient work conversion and upselling
Technical Excellence:
- Oversee complex diagnostic and repair work
- Ensure compliance with OEM standards and specifications
- Manage warranty processes and procedures
- Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections and quality control
Team Development:
- Mentor junior technicians and apprentices
- Coordinate training programs and skill development
- Manage performance and resolve conflicts
- Ensure health and safety compliance

- Working Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30-17:30, Saturday 8:00-13:00
