About the position
Our client is seeking an Workshop Assistant to join the Isando, Johannesburg team,
· Ensure the effective cleaning of the dedicated area on a daily basis (6S Standards)
· Remove dust, dirt, and debris from workshop floors and machinery areas.
· Ensure spillages (oil, grease, etc.) are cleaned up promptly
· Keep storage areas and waste disposal zones organized
· Report any maintenance issues to the Line Manager such as, broken windows, leaking pipes etc. and ensure that it gets replaced / repaired.
· Cleaning of parts warehouse floor on a weekly basis
· Washing company vehicles
· Washing of new machines when PDI’s are done external and cab .
Requirements· Grade 12
· Minimum 2 years relevant experience
· Excellent communication skills
