Job Title: Winder Electrician
Location: Gauteng

Hire Resolve's client, a reputable mining company in Gauteng, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Winder Electrician to join their team. The Winder Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various industrial settings. This role will involve working with electrical components, wiring, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Performing maintenance and fault finding on winding systems, fridge plant/ventilation equipment, and general electrical and instrumentation installations.
- Conducting modifications and improvements in the area of responsibility.
- Ensuring adherence to SHEQ standards and legal inspections on electrical and instrumentation installations.
- Working standby duties and shifts when required.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area.
- Reporting any safety incidents or accidents and ensuring personal safety, as well as the safety of fellow workers.
- Ensuring all installations and maintenance are done according to specifications.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Electrical Trade Test with MV Switching Certificate
- Knowledgeable about the regulations outlined in Chapter 16 of the Minerals Act pertaining to the operation of the Winding Plant.
- 7 years of experience as an electrician
- 5 years experience specializing in maintenance for Blair Multi Rope (BMR) Winders, Double Drum winders, Single Drum winders, and related equipment.
- Working in the mining industry.
