About the position

A client is on the lookout for an experienced supervisor in the PMB and surrounding areas.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily activities of warehouse and floor staff.
• Lead, motivate, and monitor staff performance to ensure productivity targets are met.
• Ensure staff adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Assist with stock receiving, dispatching, and stock control processes.
• Conduct and assist with regular stock takes and inventory checks.
• Investigate and report stock discrepancies or losses.
• Ensure the warehouse and work areas are clean, organized, and efficient.
• Coordinate workflow and allocate duties to staff where necessary.
• Handle basic administrative and reporting duties related to operations and stock.
• Assist management in improving operational efficiency and customer service.

Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is essential.
• Experience in a wholesale or warehouse environment will be beneficial.
• Knowledge of stock control and stock-taking procedures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage staff effectively.
• Honest, trustworthy, and dependable.
• Good problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
