About the position
Southern Wind Shipyard is looking to appoint a qualified Welder to join our team in the Stainless Steel Fabrication Department. The successful candidate will assist artisans within the department to manufacture small components for production of luxury sailing yachts. This posiiton will also be involved in assisting in the polishing department when required.
Desired Skills:
- Previous working experience in a workshop environment or manufacturing industry
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings
- Ability to work with hand tools and hand held power tools
- Previous working experience with Stainless Steel is an advantage
Desired Work Experience:
- 2 to 5 years
