About the position

We are seeking a skilled CO2 Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding activities in a safe and efficient manner. The CO2 Welder will work with a variety of materials and tools to produce high-quality welds according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials and tools
- Perform CO2 welding on a variety of metals
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Properly clean and maintain welding equipment
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations at all times
- Communicate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a CO2 Welder
- Certification in CO2 welding preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Physical strength and stamina to perform welding activities for extended periods
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and regulations
