About the position
Multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for a water focused Civil Engineer to join their Durban office.
Focusing on a broad range of water focused infrastructure projects across Africa, including water flood resilience, storm water management, water resources / supply treatment and reuse.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering
- A masters degree in Civil Engineering is advantageous
- Around 5 years or more experience in water focus civil engineering
- Application of hydrology and hydraulic modelling principles
- Stormwater drainage network modelling and design
- Sewer network design and overview of treatment options
- Water resources and supply
- Pressure network design
- Integrated water management
- Experienced in using Civil 3D
- Relevant programming/coding understanding to improve workflows/outputs
Desired Skills:
- Hydrology modelling
- Hydraulics modelling
- Stormwater drainage network modelling and design
- Sewer network design
- Water resources and supply
