About the position
Purpose of the role:
Seeking an ETP Supervisor at the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) of our Client's Manufacturing plant. The incumbent will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring effective chemical usage, accurate material balancing, and process monitoring.
The role reports directly to the Process Manager.
Requirements:
- Technically skilled supervisor with chemical handling expertise (preferably water chemicals)
- Operational oversight ability
- Strong vendor management skills
- Prior manufacturing sector experience would be very advantageous
- Strong written/oral communication, report writing, and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills, initiative, and ability to interact at middle management level
- Organised, proactive, deadline-driven, with tolerance for stress
- Ability to plan ahead, prioritise, and manage time effectively
Responsibilities:
- Monitor plant operations daily and report deviations
- Track chemical consumption and verify deliveries against inventory
- Maintain material balance records for water usage
- Cross-check vendor invoices with actual deliveries and usage
- Provide regular updates on chemical usage, inventory, and vendor performance
- Collaborate with technical staff to align process requirements
