The Sales Team Leader will oversee the day-to-day performance of the sales team, ensuring sales targets are consistently achieved. This includes developing and coaching team members, optimising lead management, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, proven experience in short-term insurance, and the ability to drive high-performance culture in a call centre environment.
?? Manage and coach telesales agents to meet and exceed sales targets
?? Oversee lead optimisation and ensure high conversion rates
?? Monitor call quality, compliance, and process adherence
?? Handle team discipline, productivity, and performance reviews
?? Run effective incentives to motivate staff and build team spirit
?? Collaborate with support teams to identify performance improvement areas
?? Ensure compliance with FAIS, RE5, and company policies
? Matric (NQF 4) minimum, relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
? RE5 and a full Short-Term Insurance qualification (FAIS compliant)
? Minimum 3 years' experience leading a telesales team in a call centre (non-negotiable)
? Minimum 2 years in short-term insurance sales leadership (non-negotiable)
? In-depth knowledge of short-term insurance products and regulatory environment
? Strong coaching, performance management, and motivational skills
?? Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills

?? High attention to detail and strong analytical ability
