About the position
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods. This role leads warehouse staff, enforces health and safety standards, maintains inventory accuracy, and supports operational efficiency and service level targets.

Minimum Requirements
Education
- Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehousing qualification (advantageous)
Experience
- 2–5 years’ warehouse experience
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role
Key Responsibilities
Operations
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time
- Monitor workflow to optimize productivity and space utilization
- Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams
Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff
- Allocate tasks and manage shift schedules
- Conduct performance monitoring, coaching, and disciplinary actions when required
- Encourage a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock records through WMS/ERP systems
- Oversee cycle counts and stock takes
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Minimize stock damage, losses, and expiry issues
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Enforce health and safety regulations and company policies
- Ensure correct use of PPE and safe equipment operation (e.g. forklifts)
- Maintain housekeeping standards and audit readiness
- Report and investigate incidents and near misses
Administration & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
- Track KPIs such as picking accuracy, on-time dispatch, shrinkage, and productivity
- Assist with process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control
- Computer literate (WMS, ERP systems, MS Excel)
- Good planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime if required
