About the position
Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for a Warehouse Manager to join their mining company based in Gauteng. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end warehouse operations, inventory control, governance, safety and service delivery to support operational requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise and manage daily warehouse and yard operations.
- Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, issuing, dispatch and returns.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and drive stock accuracy.
- Manage critical spares, consumables and stock levels.
- Conduct stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
- Identify and resolve inventory variances and manage obsolete or slow-moving stock.
- Ensure effective warehouse governance, controls and audit compliance.
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely replenishment and correct specifications.
- Oversee receiving, dispatch, transport and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with SHEQ requirements, including safe storage, housekeeping and equipment safety.
- Lead, coach and develop warehouse personnel.
- Monitor warehouse performance, service delivery and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management or equivalent
- Minimum 5–8 years' experience within the mining industry with 3 years' experience in a managerial/supervisory role.
- Knowledge of OEM
- Experience in inventory control, stocktakes and critical spares management
- Strong understanding of warehouse governance, controls and audit requirements
- Experience managing receiving, issuing, dispatch and returns processes
- Valid Driver's License
