Warehouse Manager

About the position

Umhlanga -We are on the lookout for a Warehouse Manager who can bring strategic leadership and precision to a top-tier logistics operation within the Print/Packaging/manufacturing industry.
As the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee critical supply chain functions for a prominent facility. Your role will involve managing the flow of raw materials to finished products, ensuring robust warehouse administration and system integrity to support complex printing operations. You will be instrumental in driving operational efficiencies and meeting stringent production and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and optimize comprehensive warehouse activities, including stock management, dispatch, and distribution.
• Ensure the seamless operation of a consolidated Dispatch department, aligning processes to meet ambitious delivery goals.
• Safeguard product security and fleet management, maintaining high standards of compliance and safety.
• Conduct detailed stock takes and manage inventory to minimize discrepancies and optimize space utilization.
• Uphold exceptional housekeeping and safety standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet daily operational goals and longer-term projects.
• Manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and workload distribution, while also considering employee work-life balance.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field,
• Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse management
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems like PrintVis and Business Central, alongside strong skills in Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to develop and motivate a high-performing team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to customer service and operational challenges.

Remuneration:

• R50 000 - R55 000 Cost to Company
