About the position
Our client is seeking a dynamic and proactive Warehouse Management System Consultant to join their team and support the implementation and ongoing support of their WMS software and solutions. The role requires a combination of warehousing industry knowledge, systems knowledge, problem-solving, and communication skills, and will suit someone who understands warehouse or supply chain environments and is comfortable engaging with clients at both operational and technical levels.
Key Requirements
- Configure and implement our WMS software according to project specifications
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Support clients after go-live through ongoing system optimisation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, supply chain processes and logistics systems
- Experience using SQL (queries, views and stored procedures, understanding of data structures)
- 5+ years' experience in supply chain systems implementing WMS solutions
- Experience working with warehouse technology and automation environments
- Exposure to software configuration or solution design in a logistics context
