About the position

Warehouse Storeman

• Responsible for verification and receipt of all incoming (Raw material, Finishing Supplies, Finished Goods, Bulk and Non stock) goods to the company.
• Performs all picking /dispatch operations.
• Performs all operations within Dispensary.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Receive and verify all goods delivered to the Pharmaceutical plant according to Standard operating Procedures.
• Receive liquid bulk deliveries in accordance with good manufacturing practice.
• Receive and deliver all non inventory items (ensure that high value items are locked in a cage).
• Wipe and vacuum down goods prior to entry into plant.
• Ensures use of mass meters that have been verified & calibrated.
• Ensures good housekeeping in All areas (inside and outside).
• Performs all relevant documentation and process checks to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedure.
• Advise departments Manager /Purchasing /and Quality Assurance immediately of any discrepancies, shortages breakages or damages of Goods and ensure prompt action to minimize delays.
• Generate GRN for all inventory goods received.
• Attach the correct ‘Hold ‘label to corresponding Raw material and Finishing Supplies (Components) ensuring that all details including Supplier Lot No. and description are correct.
• Processing of all shop orders.
• Dispensing /allocation and de-allocating of all materials.
• Label printing when required.
• Process all credits.
