Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Distribution Manager to oversee warehouse and distribution operations in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound processes, stock movement, dispatch, receiving, and overall warehouse efficiency. Strong SAP experience and proven distribution experience are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse and distribution operations, including inbound receiving, stock movement, picking, packing, dispatch, and outbound deliveries.
- Utilise SAP to manage warehouse transactions, inventory movements, stock accuracy, reporting, and inbound and outbound processes.
- Lead warehouse teams, monitor operational performance, maintain efficient distribution processes, and ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or related field advantageous.
- Proven experience in a Warehouse Distribution Manager, Distribution Manager, or similar senior warehouse role.
- Strong SAP experience is essential.
- Proven experience managing both inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
- Strong distribution experience with a sound understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Experience managing warehouse teams and operational performance.
- Strong stock control and inventory management experience.
- Must currently reside in Cape Town.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership, organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse, distribution, stock control, and SAP processes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage teams and work with internal and external stakeholders.
