About the position
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receiving: acquiring products in specified quantities at a warehouse facility
- Putting away: moving received products to optimal locations within a warehouse facility
- Storing: keeping products in their designated locations until shipping
- Picking: collecting stored products to fulfil customers' orders
- Packing: consolidating and preparing products in a customer's order
- Shipping: transporting a customer's order to a specified destination
- Carrying out quality assurance checks on products
- Scanning product codes
- Weighing products within orders
- Confirming delivery addresses and postage costs
- Printing and adhering shipping labels
- Taking note of damaged or returned products
- Housekeeping

About The Employer:
Our client based in Western Cape, Cape Town is looking to acquire an experienced Warehouse Assistants that will be based in one of their warehouses in Contermanskloof. The successful candidates should possessess the following skills and experience:
- Grade 12 is essential
- Must resides in and around Contermanskloof area eg Milnerton, Joe Slovo, Dunoon ect
- Proficiency with spreadsheets
- Must have 2-3 years Warehouse experience, FMCG Industry experience advantageous
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
- Extremely high attention to detail
- Must be Computer Literate
- Must be willing to work shifts and overtime
