Warehouse and Facilities Manager

About the position

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse and Facilities Manager to join our dynamic team at a leading bird seed manufacturing company. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our warehouse and facility operations.
General Maintenance:
Oversee building maintenance, excluding the production area.
Ensure facilities are well-maintained and operational.

Warehouse Management:
Lead and guide warehouse staff.
Monitor processes, ensuring timely picking and troubleshooting.
Coordinate stock rotation activities.

Granite Operations:
Collaborate with stock controllers to ensure efficient granite operations.
Verify that the team adheres to procedures.

Fumigation and Pest Control:
Implement pest control measures to maintain a hygienic environment.

Regional Team Management:
Supervise regional teams, ensuring seamless operations.
Foster teamwork and effective communication.

Housekeeping:
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility.

Theft Prevention:
Regularly inspect loaded items to prevent theft.
Implement security measures.

Health and Safety:
Uphold health and safety standards.
Promote a safe work environment.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional certifications or training in warehouse management or logistics preferred.

Remuneration: 
 R30 000 CTC - Negotiable  - dependant on expereince
