What You'll Do:
- Lead the coordination of daily order prep and dispatch to ensure on-time delivery
- Champion warehouse SOPs to improve operational efficiency
- Proactively identify safety and compliance risks
- Be the key liaison for 3rd-party transporters-handle delays, communication, and problem resolution
- Ensure strict compliance with GMP, food safety, and health & safety standards
- Manage overtime and nightshift planning
- Mentor and develop a high-performing warehouse team
- Drive optimal space utilisation, rack flow, and stock control systems
- Lead staff performance tracking and disciplinary processes
- Oversee the Shift Supervisor, Distribution Controller, and Export Controller
What You'll Need:
- Grade 12 (Matric) - essential
- A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Warehousing, or Logistics (advantageous)
- 3-5 years' supervisory experience in a warehouse/dispatch environment-preferably in FMCG
- Strong leadership, emotional intelligence, and decision-making skills
- Hands-on approach with excellent communication and team development abilities
- A mindset for continuous improvement and operational excellence
