Our Client is looking for Waiters to join their team
Area/Location: Franschhoek, Cape Town

Role Overview:

As a waiter at you will be an ambassador of our estate, ensuring that every guest receives impeccable service and enjoys their visit. You will work closely with our hospitality team to create a welcoming atmosphere and deliver a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about dishes and wines.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional manner.
• Ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables.
• Assist in preparing the dining area for service, including polishing glassware and silverware.
• Handle payments and process transactions accurately.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
• Stay informed about estate products and events to provide guests with accurate information and recommendations.

Experience and Requirements:

• Previous experience as a waiter or in a customer service role, preferably in a fine dining or hospitality setting.
• English literacy
• Good health
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
• Knowledge of wines and food pairings is a plus.
