About the position
JOB DESCRIPTION
Merchandising:
- Ensure all buying strategies are interpreted into workable layout solutions & ensure storesare easy to shop and in line with seasonal merchandise strategy
- To workshop/communicateall merchandise principles nationally to ensure successful implementation
Communication:
- Visual Presentations delivered, verbal and writtencommunication (manuals, mailers etc) meets company standards
- Mock-ups - communicate and facilitate any communicationand set up processes required to get relevant sign off for various projects
Production & Briefs:
- Sign off all relevant sizes, substrates and quantitieswith the creative & design manager & ensure that stores receive thecorrect elements/quantities
- Follow-up on all relevant parties to ensure thatcritical deadlines are met to ensure delivery into store
- Ensure that all creative briefs are executed timeouslywithin a critical path to ensure delivery into store
- Ensure that all print material is quoted for and signedoff within the critical path to ensure effective budget use
Stores - New/Revamps:
- Ensure attendance of all shop fitting meetings and toprovide open communication
- Work closely with store design department regarding layouts/equipment etc
- Ensure all visuals and equipment are in place on timefor new stores and revamp stores
- Facilitate afeedback process on every store opening / revamp
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric, Higher Certificate or Diploma
- Minimum of 1 year visualmerchandising experience
- Able to take a brief, interpretit & action
- Proficiency in the following:Microsoft office, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Proficiency in design programswould be advantageous, In design knowledge required
