About The Employer:
- Eseltjiesrus Donkey Sanctuary cares for neglected and abused donkeys.
- Here they have a forever home.
- The farm is situated just outside McGregor near Robertson in the Western Cape
- We promote the status of donkeys
- We are open Thursdays to Sundays to Visitors
- We are funded by public donations
- We are a non-profit organisation
- We have a staff of 20 people, most of whom are full-time employees
- We offer attractive salaries (for an NPO) and pleasant working conditions
- We run training courses for donkey owners and vets
- We offer volunteers the opportunity to both work with donkeys and to help us run the Visitor Centre
- The Visitor Centre has a shop, book shop, coffee shop and other features making it a quiet and peaceful place to visit.
- Our visitor guides take people into the paddocks to meet our donkeys
- We do not offer donkey rides or donkey cart rides
- We are not a petting farm
