About the position
The Videographer and Video Editor is responsible for producing high-impact video content that strengthens the Regenesys brand, supports marketing campaigns, and enhances digital engagement across platforms. This role focuses on conceptualising, filming, and editing professional video content that showcases the institution’s programmes, events, thought leadership, student experiences, and corporate partnerships.
The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller who understands how video drives engagement in modern digital marketing. The role requires someone who can transform institutional messaging, campaigns, and events into visually compelling content that resonates with prospective students, corporate audiences, alumni, and the broader public.
The Videographer must also be comfortable using AI-powered tools to enhance production workflows, accelerate editing processes, generate visual elements, and optimise content for multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Production & Storytelling
- Conceptualise, plan, and execute video shoots that support marketing campaigns, institutional storytelling, and brand visibility.
- Capture high-quality footage of events, interviews, campus activities, student experiences, and leadership insights.
- Develop visual narratives that communicate the value and impact of Regenesys programmes and initiatives.
Video Editing & Post Production
- Edit video content using professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Add motion graphics, titles, subtitles, colour grading, and sound design to enhance production quality.
- Produce polished videos suitable for digital campaigns, social media, websites, presentations, and institutional communications.
Digital & Social Media Video Content
- Create short-form and long-form video content optimised for platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Adapt content formats for different digital channels including promotional videos, reels, interviews, highlight clips, and campaign visuals.
- Ensure videos are optimised for engagement, mobile viewing, and digital distribution.
Event & Institutional Coverage
- Film key institutional events including conferences, summits, launches, open days, panel discussions, and guest lectures.
- Produce highlight videos, promotional recaps, and speaker content that extends the reach of events beyond the physical venue.
- Capture footage that can be repurposed for marketing campaigns and institutional storytelling.
AI-Assisted Video Production
- Use AI-powered tools to enhance video editing workflows, automate tasks, and generate creative elements such as captions, motion visuals, or voiceovers.
- Explore AI technologies for video enhancement, transcription, editing efficiency, and content repurposing.
- Integrate AI-assisted techniques while maintaining professional production quality and brand alignment.
Content Management & Production Workflow
- Organise and maintain a structured archive of video footage, project files, and final outputs.
- Ensure all video content aligns with Regenesys brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Manage multiple production projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Creative Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Communications, Events, and Digital teams to produce campaign-driven video content.
- Provide creative input on video concepts, storytelling approaches, and campaign visuals.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong camera operation skills with understanding of lighting, framing, and audio recording techniques.
- Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience creating both long-form and short-form video content for digital platforms.
- Knowledge of storytelling, cinematography, and visual composition.
- Familiarity with AI-powered video tools and modern content production workflows.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with creative and marketing teams.
- High level of creativity with strong attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Film Production, Media Production, Multimedia, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of professional videography and video editing experience.
- Experience producing marketing or digital media content will be advantageous.
- Experience using DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, audio recording tools, and editing suites.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong video storytelling and production quality.
