About the position
We are looking to hire a dedicated and proficient Vehicle Recovery Specialist, committed to ensuring the safe and efficient recovery of vehicles while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest safety standards.
What you’ll do:
- Liaise with clients, brokers SAPS Members
- Ensure that progress on each recovery is updated on a regular basis
- Management of appointed service provider with respect to towing clearance
- Identification of vehicles on behalf of the Insurer/client occasionally
- Ensure that circulation is correctly canceled by the SAPS
Your expertise:
- Background on SAPS procedures regarding stolen and recovered vehicles
- Knowledge of SAPVIN numbers
- Knowledge of Unicode
- Knowledge of Stolen vehicle investigations
- Computer literate
- Differentiate between stolen/ hijacked vehicles, tampered vehicles
- SAPVIN numbers and process to apply them
- Microdot process and procedure knowledge

- Travel: Travel will be required (own roadworthy vehicle)
