VAF Collections Agent: Early Stage

About the position

Are you passionate about customer service and confident on the phone? We’re looking for a Collections Agent to join our team at a Law Firm in the Vehicle and Asset Finance (VAF) Early Stage environment. If you thrive under pressure, have a knack for negotiation, and are keen to grow in the financial services space, we want to hear from you!

This position is based in Pretoria East. There is a basic salary of up to R9500 plus commission and other benefits.
? Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 (compulsory).
• Exposure to collections for vehicle finance at the Early stage. 
• Skilled in working with manual and predictive dialers.
• Fluent in English (other South African languages a plus).
• Clear criminal and credit record.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays when needed.
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, etc.).
• Excalibur Experience.

?? Experience Preferred

• 1–2 years in a call centre or financial services environment.
• Exposure to collections, vehicle finance, or banking products.
• Familiarity with CACS systems and banking platforms.

?? Key Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong telephone etiquette and active listening.
• Customer-first mindset and service orientation.
• Basic understanding of vehicle finance terms.
• Confident in handling high call volumes.
• Knowledge of NCA, FICA, and POPIA compliance standards.
• Skilled in working with manual and predictive dialers.
• Able to manage pressure and strict deadlines.
• Inbound and outbound call experience.
