About the position

WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES?

• Plan and conduct user interviews to understand user needs and problems.


• Perform usability testing to ensure solutions effectively address user challenges.


• Design and iterate on UI and prototypes for complex user and business problems.


• Collaborate with developers to ensure practical implementation of designs.


• Align with stakeholders and team members on design iterations and project goals.


• Contribute to Agile processes by supporting user stories with UI and prototypes.


• Participate in Scrum meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.


• Lead design projects from conceptualisation to implementation.


• Develop and maintain a consistent user experience by collaborating with other designers.


• Present design results and insights to stakeholders.


• Provide support for various tasks within the feature team as needed.


• Apply UX methodologies to ensure high-quality design outcomes.

Minimum Requirements:

WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?



 

• BA/BS Degree in Information Technology, Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.


• At least 6 years of experience in UX design, with 3+ years in a senior role.


• Proven track record of delivering user-centric design solutions for complex projects.

 



ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:



 

• Strong understanding of UX/UI methodologies, user-centred design, and best practices.


• Proficiency in conducting user research, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys.


• Expertise in creating user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes to visualise concepts and interactions.


• Skilled in using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or InVision.


• Ability to analyse research data to define user problems and inform design decisions.


• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented work behaviour in a distributed team environment.


• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

 



ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:



 

• Experience working in an Agile environment with tools like Confluence and Jira.


• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.


• Strong presentation skills to articulate design decisions effectively.


• Familiarity with data visualisation and modelling tools like Visio or [URL Removed]
  
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and migrations.


• Ability to advocate for user needs and promote UX principles amoung colleagues.


• Willing and able to travel internationally
