About the position

DBN000170 - Utility Manager – (Electrical) – Ballito
 
Purpose of the job:
To oversee the reliable, efficient, and cost-effective operation of essential electrical utility metering systems.
 
Required Qualifications

  • BSC or BCom in Electrical 
  • Must have proven experience working in the metering industry in a senior position
  • Excellent electrical technical background.
  • Occasional travel into Swaziland RSA, Zambia and Botswana


Technical Competencies and responsibilities

  • Deploying new meters into the field
  • Business development
  • Creating brand awareness
  • Managing the complete utilities collection and payments process
  • Ensuring compliance & reviewing of leases for accurate utility charges
  • Monitoring energy consumption for sustainability reporting
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Managing and mentoring of team
