About the position
DBN000170 - Utility Manager – (Electrical) – Ballito
Purpose of the job:
To oversee the reliable, efficient, and cost-effective operation of essential electrical utility metering systems.
Required Qualifications
- BSC or BCom in Electrical
- Must have proven experience working in the metering industry in a senior position
- Excellent electrical technical background.
- Occasional travel into Swaziland RSA, Zambia and Botswana
Technical Competencies and responsibilities
- Deploying new meters into the field
- Business development
- Creating brand awareness
- Managing the complete utilities collection and payments process
- Ensuring compliance & reviewing of leases for accurate utility charges
- Monitoring energy consumption for sustainability reporting
- Liaising with suppliers
- Managing and mentoring of team
