About the position
We're seeking an experienced Unit Manager to take the lead in our client's Trauma Unit based in Durban. This pivotal role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, guiding a skilled multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the consistent delivery of exceptional, patient-centred trauma care.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Nursing with 3+ years post-registration & leadership experience
- Postgraduate Diploma/Degree in Trauma & Emergency Nursing
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong leadership, communication & problem-solving skills
- Collaborative management style & team development focus
- Knowledge of healthcare legislation, ethics & standards
- SANC Registered
- Management/Education qualification advantageous
