About the position
Our client, a leading private hospital in Queenstown, is seeking a dedicated Unit Manager to take charge of both the Intensive Care and Renal Units, ensuring clinical excellence, staff management, and operational efficiency. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about high-acuity care, team leadership, and driving continuous improvement in a critical care environment.
Requirements:
- Relevant nursing degree or diploma
- Registration with SANC
- Post-basic qualification in Critical Care Nursing essential
- Proven experience and knowledge in Renal Nursing highly advantageous
- 2-5 years' managerial or supervisory experience in a private hospital
- Strong leadership, financial management, and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment
