Unit Manager Emergency (Trauma Trained)

About the position

Our client, a leading private hospital is seeking a skilled Unit Manager for the Emergency Unit. This role involves overseeing the unit's operations, leading a multi-disciplinary team, and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality emergency care.

Requirements:

• SANC registration as a Professional Nurse
• Post Basic qualification in Trauma Nursing
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Emergency Unit Manager
• Thorough knowledge of emergency nursing policies, procedures, and clinical protocols
• Strong understanding of scientific nursing processes and BCA bundles
• Experience with Kronos system for staff scheduling
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and planning skills
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Self-disciplined, professional role model for the team
