About the position
A well-established short term insurer is seeking to appoint a Underwriting Intern for a 24 month contract
The incumbent will be required to work closely with the underwriter and Specialist for training, coaching and guidance on the following underwriting tasks:
- Development and review the company policy wordings and guidelines to ensure consistency in the management of the companys business by the Agents.
- Dissemination of product knowledge to the industry
Qualifications:
- Matric
- Bcom in Business management, Risk Management or Insurance.
Minimum Experience:
- None (should however be able to demonstrate professionalism, hard-work and be able to grasp concepts swiftly)
