Their insurance division is seeking an experienced Underwriter to join the team at their national head office in Centurion for a 12-month fixed-term contract. What You'll Do: Evaluate and assess new insurance proposals and renewals. Apply strong technical underwriting and policy management skills. Monitor profitability trends, policy changes, and risk exposure. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Sales and Claims. Ensure full compliance, quality assurance, and policy system maintenance. Are You the One? Ask Yourself: ? Do I have at least 5-8 years of experience in Life and/or Short-term insurance underwriting? You Should Have: A Commercial Business Degree (or similar qualification) 5-8 years' experience in: Life and/or short-term insurance underwriting Insurance policy administration systems Strong problem-solving, quality control, and regulatory knowledge.
