Job Summary:
Hire Resolve's Leading Client are seeking a skilled and experienced Underground Fitter to join their team in Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing, installing, and maintaining underground mining equipment and machinery to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment such as crushers, conveyor systems, drills, and loaders.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Install new equipment and machinery according to manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members and mine operators to effectively carry out repairs and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed and equipment inspections.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Underground Fitter in the mining industry.
• Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner or equivalent.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems and hydraulic systems.
• Strong understanding of underground mining equipment and machinery.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and own transport.

Benefits:

• Salary: R800k – R1,2m
