Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and task flows based on user needs
  • Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and workflows
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to implement effective design solutions
  • Create user personas and define interaction models
  • Analyse user behaviour and gather feedback to improve digital products
  • Stay updated with industry trends and competitor offerings

Job Experience and Skills Required:

  • Education: Relevant degree (BCom Informatics, BSc, Engineering, or similar)
  • Experience:
    • 5–7 years’ experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
    • Proven track record with a strong portfolio of UX/UI projects
    • Experience in user research, testing, and project environments

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in design tools such as UXPin, Balsamiq, or similar
    • Strong understanding of interaction design and information architecture
    • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous

  • Additional Requirements:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to translate business requirements into user-focused designs
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Strong attention to detail and creative thinking
