About the position

Hybrid Role: Menlyn/Roslyn/Midrand
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficiency in Figma for designing user interfaces and prototypes
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles
  • Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, and user flows
  • Ability to conduct user research and usability testing
  • Expertise in designing for both web and mobile platforms
  • Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing requirements
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset
  • Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Business Analyst skills, including requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience with other design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision
  • Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
  • Understanding of data visualization and dashboard design
  • Experience in conducting workshops and design sprints
  • Knowledge of branding and graphic design principles
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Confluence
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Basic understanding of analytics tools to measure user experience
  • German language skills
