Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Group's treasury function, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management and working capital optimisation.
• Oversee local and international banking relationships, foreign exchange exposure, forward cover and Reserve Bank compliance.
• Monitor cash flow across multiple entities while ensuring sufficient liquidity to support operational requirements.
• Prepare monthly cash flow reports, treasury reporting and liquidity schedules for executive management.
• Manage banking facilities, authorised signatories, online banking platforms and banking documentation.
• Review and approve creditor payments, bank reconciliations and treasury-related accounting transactions.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies, internal controls, statutory requirements and audit processes.
• Mentor and oversee the Debtors and Creditors teams while supporting continuous process improvements.

Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile

• Relevant Finance, Accounting or Treasury qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Treasury role.
• Essential experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience supporting both local and international treasury operations is non-negotiable.
• Strong knowledge of foreign exchange, cash flow forecasting, liquidity management and working capital.
• Sound understanding of South African Reserve Bank (SARB) regulations and treasury compliance.
• Experience using Syspro as the primary accounting/ERP system is essential.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
