DBN000207 - Travel Consultant (In-House) - Ballito
Main purpose of the job:
This hybrid position, located in Ballito, will be in charge of helping visitors and business partners with all aspects of trip planning associated with our client's resorts, including logistical coordination, flights, and transfers.
Minimum requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience as a Travel Consultant / Travel Advisor.
- Strong knowledge of Southern African travel routes and logistics.
- Experience with luxury, safari, or high-end leisure travel preferred.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in travel booking systems and MS Office.
Main duties & Responsibilities
- Make travel arrangements and reservations for guests' flights, road transfers, charters, and other logistics.
- Provide advice on the best ways to go to travel to the lodges
- Communicate with internal lodge teams, transfer firms, and airlines.
- Keep an eye on airline schedules and handle any modifications or interruptions.
- Provide verified reservations and inquiries to the sales and reservations departments.
- Ensure that internal teams and guests receive accurate travel information.
- Communicate with guests in a timely, professional, and individualized manner.
- Keep correct supplier documentation, records, and confirmations.
