About the position
Lead and manage the organisation's Transformation, B-BBEE, Employment Equity and Skills Development functions to ensure legislative compliance, achieve transformation objectives, optimise B-BBEE performance and strengthen organisational capability.
Qualifications & Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant Degree in Human Resources, Human Resource Development, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5 years’ experience in Transformation, B-BBEE, Employment Equity, Skills Development, and Learning & Development
- MERSETA experience is essential
- Strong experience managing B-BBEE scorecards, verification processes, and reporting under the Generic Codes of Good Practice
- Proven experience with Employment Equity planning, Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs), Annual Training Reports (ATRs), and SETA grant applications
- Experience acting as an organisation’s Skills Development Facilitator.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capability.
- B-BBEE Management Development Programme qualification is advantageous.
Key Performance Areas:
- Drive the organisation’s Transformation and B-BBEE strategy and initiatives
- Manage annual B-BBEE verification processes and scorecard performance
- Ensure compliance with Employment Equity legislation and reporting requirements
- Compile and submit WSPs, ATRs, and SETA grant applications
- Manage relationships with MERSETA, verification agencies, and relevant stakeholders
- Coordinate learnerships, internships, and other development programmes
- Lead Learning and Development initiatives aligned to business requirements
- Monitor budgets, implementation plans, and project timelines
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
- Partner with business leaders to achieve transformation and organisational development objectives
