About the position
A leading specialist infrastructure advisory firm is seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Project Finance Advisor to join its Financial Advisory team in a senior role
The firm advises private and public sector clients on complex infrastructure, energy, transport, water and commercial development projects across South Africa and the broader African market. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transaction professional looking to lead high-value project finance and infrastructure transactions while working closely with investors, lenders, developers and government stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure, project finance, PPP and corporate finance transactions from origination through to financial close
- Advise clients on project structuring, feasibility, commercial viability and funding strategies
- Develop and review financial models, feasibility studies, business cases and investment memoranda
- Manage lender, investor and stakeholder relationships throughout the transaction process
- Coordinate multidisciplinary advisory teams and oversee due diligence activities
- Support capital raising, transaction negotiations and business development initiatives
- Mentor junior team members and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications & Experience
- Honours degree in Business Science, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Financial Mathematics, or an Engineering degree with strong commercial experience
- Minimum of seven years' experience in infrastructure, project finance, corporate finance, transaction advisory, private equity or project development
- Proven experience leading complex transactions through to financial close
- Strong financial modelling, analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working on infrastructure projects in South Africa and/or Africa
