About the position
We are looking for a dynamic Training and Change Manager who will establish and drive digital transformation initiatives through effective training and change management programs. The position combines business analysis, training leadership, and change management to ensure successful technology adoption at scale.
What you’ll do:
Change Strategy Implementation
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies from the ground up
- Establish change management methodologies and frameworks appropriate for the organization
- Create and implement change readiness assessment processes
- Build and execute cultural transformation initiatives to support digital adoption
- Develop metrics and tracking mechanisms for measuring change effectiveness
Training Development
- Establish training methodologies and standards for the organization
- Build and lead a team of trainers/change managers across multiple countries
- Develop comprehensive training programs for new technology implementations
- Create training materials and documentation standards
- Implement training effectiveness measurement systems
- Design and execute multi-lingual training programs
Business Analysis Requirements
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions, representing end-user perspectives
- Document business processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Contribute to solution design from a user adoption perspective
- Create user documentation and standard operating procedures
- Establish processes for ongoing requirements gathering and refinement
Implementation Support
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives
- Manage GO LIVE support teams and activities
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure change management alignment
- Establish and implement post-implementation support processes
- Drive adoption through targeted interventions and support programs
Stakeholder Management
- Build relationships with store operations teams across countries
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement frameworks
- Create communication strategies for various stakeholder groups
- Establish feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement
- Lead resistance management initiatives
Your expertise:
- Minimum 5 years experience in change management/training roles
- Proven experience in retail operations and technology implementations
- Experience leading multi-country training initiatives
- Understanding of both waterfall and agile project methodologies
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles
- Experience with ERP implementations
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with:
- Dynamics 365 FO implementations
- POS system implementations
- Digital learning platforms
- Multi-cultural training programs
- Change management certification (PROSCI, ACMP, etc.)
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2)

Other information applicable to the opportunity:
- 6 Months Renewable Contract
- Location:Gaborone, Botswana
- Accommodation and 1 return trip to South Africa will be provided, as well as a pool car while in Botswana.
- Living expenses such as food etc. will be for the incumbent’s account.
