Our client based in Saudi Arabia they are looking for a lean six sigma trainer to join their team .Position Summary:
The Lean Six Sigma Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive Lean Six Sigma training programs tailored to the specific needs of our manufacturing operations. This role will focus on equipping employees with the knowledge and skills to drive continuous improvement, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste across our manufacturing facilities. The trainer will leverage their deep understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and practical manufacturing experience to create engaging and impactful training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Development & Delivery:
- Design, develop, and deliver Lean Six Sigma training programs (Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt, and potentially Champion/Executive overview) that are relevant to the manufacturing environment.
- Adapt training materials and methodologies to align with Saudi Arabian cultural nuances and the specific operational challenges within our facilities.
- Utilize a variety of training methods, including classroom instruction, hands-on workshops, simulations, and project-based learning.
- Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, workbooks, case studies, and assessments.
- Conduct post-training evaluations to assess knowledge transfer and identify areas for improvement.
- Manufacturing Expertise:
- Apply practical manufacturing experience to illustrate Lean Six Sigma concepts and demonstrate their application in real-world scenarios.
- Develop case studies and examples based on common challenges and opportunities within the manufacturing industry in Saudi Arabia.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to project teams, guiding them through the application of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques.
- Conduct on-site observations and assessments to identify areas for improvement within manufacturing processes.
- Continuous Improvement & Project Support:
- Support the implementation of Lean Six Sigma projects across the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams in the application of DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) and other Lean tools.
- Track and report on the progress and impact of Lean Six Sigma projects.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a continuous improvement culture.
- Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure that training programs and project activities comply with relevant Saudi Arabian regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and best practices.
- Maintain detailed training records.
- Cultural Adaptability:
- Be able to adapt training methods to suit the cultural norms of Saudi Arabian trainees.
- Have a good understanding of Arabic language and culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in the heavy industries such as Oil & Gas, Petro-chemicals, mining, steel and power generation
- Experience in process engineering & advanced process controls
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred) or Green Belt with significant experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering Lean Six Sigma training programs.
- Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (preferred).
- Knowledge of local Saudi Arabian manufacturing regulations.
