About the position

1. Portfolio Reconciliation. Reconciling SA domiciled funds and portfolios on Bloomberg AIM making use of the BaseSigma as reconciliation tool. Including but limited to:

2. Daily FX margin adjustments

3. Daily Cash Balance Recons (BDS/CCMS)
4. Daily Portfolio Recons to MAV
5. Hand Pricing of Instruments (Weekly & adhoc)
6. Report generation & confirmations to CAM
7. Processing Cash Transfer Instructions
8. Monitoring Mutual Fund Trades on BBG console
9. BaseSigma maintenance
10. Corporate Action Processing
11. Query Resolution
12. Update data files for uploading

13. Timely distribution. Communicate availability to the CAM/PMs

14. Trade and General Portfolio Administration. Executing trades (all instrument types) & cash transfer instructions received from the investment team ensuring best and timely execution. Monitoring compliance with investment guidelines. Asist with the opening of accounts with newly appointed segregated/sub portfolio managers. Providing general administration support to Asset Management and Administration Services

15. Receive and confirm trades/cash transfer instructions

16. Compile instruction for signoff where applicable
17. Instruct and ensure receipt
18. File and update trade register
19. Update operational calendar with relevant pending trades
20. Information gathering
21. Opening of various accounts and account types
22. Follow up with suppliers
23. Regular feedback to manager

24. Dealing with a daily and adhoc queries

25. Cash Management.

26. Monitor cash levels in Current accounts.

27. Monitor flows (inflows/outflows/transactions)
28. Place excess cash in Current accounts on Call with banks
29. Withdraw from Call when required so ensure liquidity
30. Ensure compliance at all times (Using Credit Rating & Compliance tool)
31. Open call accounts with new Banks

32. Maintain active accounts & relationship with banks

33. Producing various reports such as CAM Review Report, H4 Board report, Monthly UT cash flow report, Periodic reporting of portfolio holdings, returns and net flows, Updating CKC daily with UT Prices.

34. Calculations & Data Input ; Perform TIC (TER + TC) Calculation Checks and submit via Finswitch, Money Market Rate Calculation and BBG Update:

35. Data sourcing & verification

36. Populate TER Sheets
37. Data verification and checking for reasonability
38. Request sign-off

39. Publish onto Finswitch

40. Reporting: JSE and Bloomberg Data Licence Queries and adhoc Bloomberg admin queries.

41. Compliance - Assist compliance officer in investigating and correcting compliance breaches.

42. Section 42 Transfers. Ensure successful transfer of private client portfolio shares to our Collective Investment Schemes.

43. Assist Fund Operations Manager in ad-hoc project work or resolving ad hoc queries if required.

44. Assist with the Financial year external and audit and respond to audit queries if required.
