About the position

Qualifications

Grade 12 and NQF Level 5 qualification.
Qualified Tool and Die Maker.
Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Toolmaker within an automotive environment.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in tool, jig and die repair.
Proven experience in heavy duty press shops with automated tandem lines (600T–2000T).
Hands-on experience with large skin panels and structural parts.

TIG welding
Cutting and clearance optimization
Press line troubleshooting
Corrective maintenance
Preventive maintenance
Draw tool stabilization
Formability testing
