Job Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester t with strong experience in both manual and automated software testing. This role is responsible for validating the functionality, usability, and performance of software solutions to ensure alignment with business and user expectations.
You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and support teams in a collaborative, agile environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, reliable systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct exploratory, usability, functional, and regression testing across multiple environments
- Execute regression testing following system updates to ensure stability and performance
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts
- Perform root cause analysis on defects and clearly communicate findings
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Test Café (TypeScript) or similar
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet user and business needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and documentation (including SOPs)
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Software testing certification (e.g., ISTQB) is advantageous
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a QA or software testing role
Technical Skills:
- Manual and automated testing
- Functional, integration, performance, and regression testing
- Web and mobile application testing
- GUI, back-end, and UAT testing
- Test case design and test script development
- Experience with automation tools (preferably Test Café or similar JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks)
- SQL for data validation and back-end verification
- API testing using tools such as Postman
- Familiarity with development technologies such as Java, C#, .NET, or similar
