What you will be doing:
- Responsible for understanding functional areas and their interdependencies to ensure effective testing.
- Take ownership of testing artifacts, including designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on acceptance criteria.
- Implement and maintain a Master Test Matrix across clients, and individual Test Matrices per client, updating them with new developments and enhancements.
- Produce test documents for different test types, such as Unit Testing, API/Services Testing, MIP QA Testing, and Regression Testing.
- Report and track defects found during testing and work with software engineers to resolve them.
- Stay updated on new developments, industry regulations, testing trends, and tools, actively identify process improvements, and share knowledge about functionality changes.
- Support Client Service Managers (CSMs) with functionality and configuration, and collaborate closely with Business Analysts, CSMs, Software Engineers, and regression teams.
- Actively participate in Sprint Planning by understanding expected testing outcomes, providing estimations, updating test scenarios, and offering input for project planning.
- Create test documentation that can serve as reference or training material.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial, but not essential.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of dedicated software testing or Quality Assurance experience.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with various testing methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.
- Demonstrated ability to perform API/Services Testing and a strong understanding of integration points and data flow between enterprise systems.
- Excellent analytical skills required for effective root-cause analysis and complex troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and communicate technical findings clearly to both business stakeholders and engineers.
- Familiarity with modern defect tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar).
