About the position

Test Analyst
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Understanding of systems engineering concepts
• The ability to analyse a process from start to finish.
• Requirement review & static analysis
• Analyse Test Scripts for feasibility.
• Technical Test Case creation.
• Reporting Ops and Customer support process and flow

You should be able to do the following: 

• Test case creation and Execution
• Basic Test reporting during test execution(SIT and UAT)
• Provide system training to identified super users and business testers
• Plan, organise and support test case creation
• Coordinate test data creation with the developers and other testers
• Track new/changed requirements and ensure these are addressed during testing
• Ensure entry/exit criteria for all test phases are met in time
• Daily monitoring and action of Production tickets coming into ServiceNow/ITSMNext
• Assisting with configuration and monitoring of Prod app performance
• Weekly/monthly reporting dashboard updates on incidents
• Availability to provide OPS support during the holiday season (On rotation/On call)

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• ITPM and AWM methodologies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong ability to understand and interpret Business needs and requirements with the ability to move concepts through to proposal and finally successful implementation.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues / users.
• Should be willing to deal with (talk to) our customers. In most cases they will be foreign customers and language barriers might exist.
• Ability to work as part of a team, inter-dependant as well as independently and submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality. SELF STARTER.
• Above board work ethics – this is of utmost importance.
• Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project.
• Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required.
