About the position
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns on behalf of the client.
- Design, build and maintain a successful social media presence for the organisation.
- Oversee all tender associated cost preparation responsibilities.
- Conduct relevant research and obtain factored / sub supplier costs where necessary.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to proactively source viable RFQs throughout the industry.
- Prepare complete, high quality, competitive technical and commercial proposals on behalf of the client.
- Perform the required editing and proof reading of tender submissions and proposals to ensure quality standards are met.
- Ensuring tender submissions are submitted on time and via the correct delivery method.
- Continuously source new tenders and project leads.
- Conduct tracking of all tender related correspondence before, during and after submission.
- Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of tender procedures and practices.
- Attend clarification meetings with clients when required.
- Ensure that all tenders meet company commercial guidelines and have the necessary sign off in accordance with the delegation of authority guidelines.
- Take responsibility for all associated handover documentation in the event of an order.
- Work in partnership with relevant operational leaders and project managers to ensure a good understanding of the exact service offerings and where they can add value to customers.
- Remain up to date with the general specifications and market requirements of the industries the client operates within.
- Measure and report on the performance of all submitted tenders and implement improvement measures where possible.
- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners in the successful implementation of the Digital Brand strategy.
- Evaluate relevant emerging technologies and provide thought leadership on all aspects of digital marketing and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
- Conduct all relevant reporting for the Digital Brand space and present analyses and recommendations to senior leadership as requested.
- Support and provide evidence to all internal and external audit requirements.
- Oversee the maintenance and enforcement of related Service Level Agreements to minimise business risk and ensure business continuity.
- Ensure adherence in the team to all relevant laws, policies and Standard Operating Procedures throughout the organisation.
Requirements:
- 5 Years relevant specialist experience in a tender/proposal coordinating, procurement, supply chain management or similar role is required.
- Relevant Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- NQF 6
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the relevant Microsoft Office suite.
- Best practice knowledge and expertise in the field of tender and proposal creation and submission.
